Phil and Liz Wiegers founded the company in May of 2001 in Flower Mound, Texas. This was the launching point for EGW & the beginning of a distribution company whose vision was not just to provide quality products and services to the natural gas, waterworks and plumbing industries, but to focus on solving customer problems. Through hard work and this unique approach, EGW sustained quick success, including the addition of two strategic partners, Jeff Burnett & Ford Femal.

Energy Technical Services PLLC offers professional services such as owner's engineer, engineering consulting, and project management on various types of energy projects, including small-scale LNG, gas metering & regulating stations, gas pipelines, gas distribution, propane-air, compressed natural gas, and renewable energy.

2019 was our 25th company anniversary. When we look back at the people that have influenced the direction of our company, we find ourselves starting with our founders, Dick and Dr. Sylvia Hornback. The Hornbacks are the embodiment of 'doing what you love' and doing it with passion (a core trait we build around to this day).
