Learn about Julie Selof:

Julie has a degree in Human and Family Resources which fueled a passion to help those in need. This passion led her to the not-for-profit sector where she honed her skills as a brand ambassador, community engagement expert, and authentic relationship developer. She served in roles such as Executive Director, Development Director, Sponsorship Coordinator, Community Relationship Manager and most recently, Truliant At Work Officer.

In her previous role as Community Relationship Manager at Consumers Credit Union, she became a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor through the Credit Union National Association and embarked on a new journey into financial wellness. She developed and implemented a financial wellness program including curriculum for external webinars, and created content for various social media channels. Julie found that offering financial education presentations, lunch & learns, and benefit fairs was rewarding and fulfilling.

Julie moved from IL to Greenville SC in 2022 where she is actively involved with the Greenville Society of Human Resource Management (GSHRM) and Women Confidence Builders along with other chambers and associations. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching fitness classes at Sportsclub locations in the Upstate and spending time with her grown children. In 2021 she was named the Volunteer of the Year from the Schaumburg Business Association, was recognized as a 2020 Influential Woman in Leadership by the Daily Herald Media Group and most recently named to the Greenville Chamber’s Leadership Greenville Class 50.

“Knowledge is power, community is strength, and positive attitude is everything”-Lance Armstrong.

“These are words that Julie takes to heart because she believes that everyone should have access to financial education and resources that help them achieve their financial goals, a community that is behind them and people to uplift and guide them towards their dreams. “
