
The new CPGA T.R.U.S.T (Training, Responsibility, Understanding Safety, and Transparency) Awards recognize individuals and organizations in the gas industry who demonstrate excellence in training, safety, community outreach, environmental responsibility, and other key areas. These awards aim to acknowledge achievements, boost professional credibility, foster networking, promote best practices, and enhance workforce development.
Deadline to submit nominations is May 31, 2025.
Purpose of Awards:
- Recognition: Celebrates individuals' hard work and accomplishments.
- Credibility & Reputation: Enhances professional standing and career development.
- Networking: Opens up opportunities for collaboration.
- Excellence & Promotion: Encourages outstanding performance in the industry.
- Career Opportunities: Leads to new resources and job prospects.
- Workforce Development: Cultivates future professionals and strengthens the industry.
General Requirements
- Must be a System member of the CPGA in good standing.
- Must be an Associate member in good standing.
- Deadline for submissions is May 31st of each year.
- The information must be presented on a per calendar year basis.
- Award winners will be announced at the CPGA annual conference in September each year.
- Award winners will be notified before awards are made public.
- All submitters will be required to submit backup information for up to 20% of questions.
Scoring Process:
The CPGA Executive Committee will nominate an award committee to evaluate applications based on a point system, with awards given as:
- Bronze: 70-79%
- Silver: 80-89%
- Gold: 90-99%
- Platinum: 100%
If no member meets the criteria, no award will be granted.
Award Categories & Scoring Criteria:
- Safety Section: Recognizes organizations with exceptional safety practices.
- Training Section: Acknowledges those investing in workforce training and professional development.
- Community Outreach Section: Recognizes efforts to improve the well-being of communities.
- Environmental Section: Honors contributions to environmental sustainability.
Chairman (Chairwoman) Award:
Awarded to individuals for their outstanding service to the industry. Recognizes members who have stood out in their service.
Chairman (Chairwoman) Award Qualifications
1. Has to be an employee of a system member or associate member.
2. Has had a significant impact on the gas industry.
3. Has had significant collaboration in the CPGA.
4. At least 15 years of service in the industry.
5. Is retiring and/or moving to a different territory.
